Flathead Lake Fishing Report for Week of October 5th 2023

October 5, 2023

Lake Mary Ronan

Lake Mary Ronan is experiencing an excellent perch bite that just keeps going! Try fishing in 25’ of water near Camp Tuffit or White Rock Bay. Jigging spoons or gitzits is working well.

Lower Thompson

The Lower Thompson also has a good perch bite, especially in the east end in about 20’ of water. You’ll also still find some salmon action near the boat launch.

Ashley Lake

The salmon bite in Ashley Lake is still good trolling cowbells or small dodgers, in 30’ of water.

Tobacco River/Graves Creek

Salmon snagging is still good on both streams of the Tobacco River and Graves Creek.

Blanchard Lake

Good numbers of smaller Crappie as well as a few nice bass can be found in Blanchard Lake.

Smith Lake

Smith Lake is producing lots of small pike, with a few big perch in the mix.

Rogers Lake

Try Rogers Lake for grayling and cutts starting in the early morning hours.

Flathead Lake

Troll large spoons, in 50′ to 70’ of water in Flathead Lake from Lakeside to the west shore for Lake Trout.

Beaver Chain of Lakes

The Beaver Chain of Lakes is showing good numbers of rainbows, bait fishing offshore.

Until Next Time, Tight Lines!
